The story takes place from Suzu in Tijuana, Mexico, when the couple goes to a local nightclub. Suzu plans to impress local police chief Saucedo to give her a chance to compete in the upcoming Miss Baja California pageant. When Gloria goes to the bathroom An armed gunman breaks into a vent and tries to kidnap Gloria out of her store. But she managed to escape as they fired the baton. Chaos ensues when Gloria is separated from Suzu. the next morning Gloria is unable to contact Su Su and decides to drive with the police to try to find her friend. She informed the authorities that she had information about the man who attacked the club. and the officer agreed to take her to the station for questioning. Instead, he drove to a remote area and got out of the car. Gloria is then taken by members of Los Estrellas, the alliance behind the kidnapping attack, to take her to headquarters, where Los Estrellas head Lino. agrees to help her find Suzu if she agrees to work for them. Because of her American citizenship, she is useful. Gloria hesitated but finally agreed. Her first job was to get in the car and park it in the corner of the building. Gloria did that. And when she got out of the car and joined Leno’s men at the top of the hill. They detonated a bomb attached to the car and burned the building. Gloria later discovered that the building was a safehouse for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) with three officers tasked with overseeing the PAD operations.
